Get to know Jay through a quick Q&A session as he shares insights into his impressive background.

Q: Can you share your previous experience and any achievements prior to joining Earlyhood Recruitment?

Prior to moving to Australia, I had worked as HR Business Partner in Liverpool UK. I have over 9 years’ experience in HR and Recruitment, across various sectors including pharmacy, gas and oil, and rail. I am also a qualified Early Childhood Teacher, but mostly use the skills looking after my niece and nephew!

Q: What excites you about working in Early Childhood Recruitment Industry?

I find it really rewarding working with great candidates and guiding them in their career journey, as well as supporting clients in finding their perfect match. Stepping into the industry also brings the opportunity to utilise both my experience in recruitment and as an Early Years Teacher.

Q: Besides your professional life, we’d love to know about your favourite hobbies. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy running, often running a 10km every other day and once ran a marathon after an 8-hour work shift! I love socialising, am a big Simpsons fan, and love a bit of karaoke (Spandau Ballet is my go-to)!
